Your Agency / Meta Game

Joint Agencies

Joint agencies are the guilds of The Agency. You can join with others to create a joint agency that benefits everyone in the joint agency.
The really cool thing about joint agencies is that they allow players to combine their operatives. A beginning player may only have an agency with one operative working on a task. As they play the game and rank up they will get up to five or or ten agents to work on a task at a given time. With guilds, when players get into joint agencies, they can perform larger tasks that may take up to 50 operatives. This gives players more of an incentive to get into guilds and combine resources to accomplish bigger things. - Matt Wilson
  • Due to the roster limits on operatives and the interdependency built into the operatives players will want to join with others in order to share operatives which will allow the operatives to do more.
  • Joint Agencies also enable new missions, through how that works has not been announced.
  • Joint Agencies also play a part in the World Domination end game, through how we don’t yet know.

World Dominition

Turn the lights down and hand agent Matt 'M' Wilson, our intrepid leader, the microphone. A deep voice booms out "WORLD DOMINATION!!!", thus begins the answer on what the end game will be like. How it works is unknown, we do know this:
  • Joint Agencies will play a role, most likely vying for domination of the world.
  • The world will change based upon player actions.
Are you planning world events? Yes we are planning on it, but I can't go into the specifics. I can say that the key is setting things up so that events don't take a lot of time for people to enjoy them. That's the beauty of ongoing content; if you design for the top tiers, you're spending a lot of time on things that many people won't see. We want to make sure that the content is easily playable for everyone, even if it isn't critical for the storyline you're in. - Matt Wilson
